Distractions.

Okay so I had every intention for starting my University work a week or so early, this whole week has been a total shambles. Just things getting in the way and my own procrastination.

I love my Uni work and I can't wait to get started but I'm that type of person that looks at something as a whole big thing to get done, and than it becomes a sort of chore in my head. I've had to really push myself into seeing it as a week by week, day by day thing. I enjoy it more when I see it that way.

What is your belief and understanding of the nature of today's learners? Is there substance to the "engage or enrage" argument?

The argument of, if you do not engage the student you will enrage the student, does have some standing. Today's learners are constantly looking for new information over the internet or through ICT (information communication technologies).

People or "learners" do not like feeling ignorant of today's world. So they demand constant updates through different channels of information.

Although many young people utilize the internet for their local or world news there are still plenty of people out there who do not know how to use a computer except for the basics. There are also people who cant access a computer even with today's advanced technologies, we need to make allowances for all types of people and all their different needs.
